Book Review: Block Shot

Title: Block Shot

Author: Kennedy Ryan

Rating: 4 stars

Jared and Banner met in college. Banner is the smartest girl Jared has ever met, and finds himself attracted to her even though Banner is not his usual type. Something great happens between these two but it quickly turns ugly. There are misunderstandings and it will be ten years until they get to interact again properly.

Both go their separate ways, graduate college and become successful sports agents. Years later they are in the same city and start running into each other all the time. Banner is always trying to avoid Jared, but Jared isn’t letting Banner get away this time.

There has always been a pull between them that makes it hard to stay away. They were passionate about each other and saw each other for the people they were on the inside and not just the package on the outside. Banner was kick-ass and a great character and I really loved Jared.

This is the second book in the Hoops series and I really enjoyed it. I loved getting to see Iris and August again and catching up with them. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
