Book Review: The Kiss Quotient

Title: The Kiss Quotient

Author: Helen Hoang

Rating: 4.5 stars +

Stella is a thirty year old econometrician who is smart and successful but to her mothers dismay still single. So Stella decides to something about her relationship status, only she doesn’t really know the best way around it. Stella has Aspergers, that can make her a little awkward in the dating department.

This is where Michael comes in. Michael is an escort, but he is also so much more. He is a stand up guy and only escorts on Friday nights as a way to help his family. He meets Stella and is surprised that someone like her would need his services. Michael is kind and understanding to Stella and she fascinates him.

Michael and Stella develop a friendship and a relationship of sorts. Michael really starts to embrace all of Stella’s quirks and handled her differences very well. Michael and Stella had wonderful chemistry and it was great watching a romantic relationship grow for the couple.

This was an amazing debut novel and I really enjoyed Helen’s writing. I can’t wait to read what this author writes next.
