Book Review: One Last Time

Title: One Last Time

Author: Corinne Michaels

Rating: 4.5 stars

Kristin McGee is finally getting a divorce from her husband who has been emotionally abusive. She now finds herself single looking after two kids. She is on a path of finding herself again, along with her group of friends and a new job starts her in the right direction.

She has managed to find herself a job as a celebrity journalist and her first assignment is to interview Noah Frazier. Noah is fiends with Eli, her friend Heather’s boyfriend (who we met in We Own Tonight). Kristin gets a bit drunk and embarrasses herself in front of Noah, but he finds her endearing and sets it up so they will continue to work together.

Noah is determined to win over the reluctant Kristin, not caring that she is recently divorced and a single mother. Kristin didn’t think it would be possible to find love again but Noah starts to wear down her defenses and changes her mind.

Noah was sweet and funny and just an amazing guy. He showed Kristin how a man should treat a women and was always showing her respect. Kristin had lost a lot of her self-worth by constantly being put down by her ex-husband but Noah comes in and shows and helps her build her esteem up again.

Overall, this was a very enjoyable read plus it was great getting to catch up with some already loved characters. I can’t wait to read what this author publishes next.
